Appraisals

Quilt appraisals are a great way to determine and provide a written record of a quilt’s fair market value if needed in the event of loss or damage. For $60.00, you will receive a professionally written document for each quilt appraisal.

There are currently five open time slots during the show on Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25. Please contact me to schedule an appraisal for one of your beautiful quilts. You can reach me by telephone or email, or even at the quilt show.

Schedule for the week of the show

The excitement is palpable as we see months of hard work come to fruition!  There is a lot happening in the days leading up to our big event so here is a quick guide to help keep you organized.

Group admissions

The quilt show committee thought it would be a good idea to offer retirement facilities a reduced-price admission to draw more visitors to our show. This group admission is $7.00 each, with a minimum of ten or more. The group entry must be purchased before October 21 and are non-refundable. They will not be offered at the Admissions Table during the quilt show.

Andrea Krier will be delivering these reduced-fee admissions in person, so the facilities need to be in the immediate area. Judy Hillebrand mailed letters, show posters, and postcards to these retirement facilities: Alto Grayslake, Brookdale Hawthorn Lakes, Brookdale Vernon Hills, Green Oaks Senior Living, Lake Forest Place, Sedgebrook, The Sheridan at Green Oaks, and Story Point.

If you know of other facilities that might enjoy a group trip to see our quilt show, and would like to purchase reduced-entry fee admissions, please let Andrea and Judy know.
