Work-Day on July 22

We are hosting a work-day for members to finish their entries for the quilt show (maybe even make a label for the back and a pocket for hanging). Or you can work on silent auction items, boutique, aprons or QOV projects.

We will be meeting at Faith Lutheran Church from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Feel free to come for as long or short as you want. Bring your sewing machine, if you need one. We will have fabric for members to work on for QOV quilts. It will be fun to all sew together, so join us!

Don't forget it is only two weeks before the deadline to enter quilts. This will be a great place to photograph your quilt. We will have a stand with black drapes to help you out if you wish to use it.

Hanging Day Line Captains Needed

While everyone is expect to help hang the quilts in the show, line captains are needed to help organize the crew of volunteers and make sure each quilt is hung in its proper location. No experience necessary!

We will begin recruiting Line Captains at the July guild meeting.

All the line captains will before the show to review the hanging layout, learn how our quilt racks are assembled, and learn to hang quilts properly. Finally, line captains must arrive reasonably early on hanging day and must be prepared to stay until hanging is complete.
