She'll cover many ideas for adding machine quilting details and hand-stitched embellishments. The day will end with Diane showing how to finish the piece using facing as an alternative to binding.

Improvisational curves are fun and easy! Join in the fun of sewing improvisational curves with Diane Harris. Diane will teach us how to cut and sew those curves. During the process, we will learn about the value and scale of the fabric to produce fantastic results. She will also discuss machine quilting, hand-stitched embellishments, and using facing instead of binding. A four-section piece will be made as shown; the size will vary depending on your choices.
