Village Quilters will be hosting a Quilt Retreat From March 24, 2023 through March 26, 2023. It will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mettawa. We have had several retreats at this location and it has become a favorite. We sew in their ball room that is spacious and has an abundance of natural light during the day. We begin the retreat at 8:00 am on that Friday and it ends on Sunday afternoon. At the retreat each quilter works on their own projects. We each have our own table and electricity for our machines.

The cost of the retreat is $60.00. This covers the cost of the ballroom for the 3 days. Quilters have a choice of staying at the hotel at night or going home each night. We have a block of rooms set aside for those who want to stay at the hotel. The cost of the rooms are $145.00 plus tax for each night. The rate does not include breakfast.

If you want to attend the retreat you can register online at our website beginning January 1, 2023. At that time you can pay online or by check. We have room for 32 quilters. If the retreat fills up we will start a wait list. In the past we have been able to ask those on the wait list if they want to attend due to cancellations.
