Upcoming Meetings/Programs
Village Quilters meet at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Tuesday
of each month at Grace United Methodist Church (244 East Center Avenue)
in Lake Bluff. Social time starts at 6:30 pm. Guests and new members
are always welcome. Membership forms are available at the meetings.
July 21—Mickey Depre: Colorriffic Quilts
Our speaker for July will be
award winning quilter Mickey
Depre (www.mdquilts.com)
from Oak Lawn, IL.
Her PowerPoint presentation
Colorriffic Quilts will take
the audience through exercises of
fabric selection for projects.
They will learn to stretch their wings and see that using
colors/patterns they may not have considered before will add zing
to their next projects palette. This will be followed by a short
trunk show and of course a question and answer period.
